ABOUT US
WOODMANCOTE RETRO is a furniture design company
based within the Stroud Valleys in Gloucestershire.
We have a passion for designing and creating beautiful, functional, simple and timeless furniture.
We produce tubular steel furniture that is unique and rooted in
mid-century design. We live by the10 principles of the industrial designer Dieter Rams including sustainability, simplicity and versatility.
We are passionate about sourcing and salvaging beautiful, local and high-quality sustainable hardwoods and recycled plastics. We incorporate these into our furniture design and so reduce landfill and waste.
Our ethos also is a commitment to supporting the local and circular economy. We collaborate with like-minded suppliers and makers within a 70 mile radius, to produce high quality furniture that you will not find on the high street.
Our beliefs are why we started doing what we do - and have never looked back.
Whether for your home or for a business, we’re proud to supply our bespoke furniture. See our Instagram and Google Reviews for examples of our many happy customers. Our business clients and projects include hotels, shops, cafes, bars, offices, museums, theatres and restaurants.
