Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of furniture and homewares products by Woodmancote Retro to customers. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Products
We manufacture and supply various furniture and homewares products, made from tubular steel, wood, plastic, and combinations thereof. All descriptions, specifications, and images are provided for general guidance only. Minor variations in colour, finish, grain, or dimensions may occur due to materials and manufacturing processes.
3. Orders and Acceptance
All orders are subject to acceptance by the Company, Woodmancote Retro. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including but not limited to product availability, errors in pricing, or suspected fraud.
4. Pricing and Payment
Prices are listed in pounds sterling and inclusive of taxes. Delivery is quoted as listed on the Woodmancote Retro website. Full or partial payment may be required before production and dispatch. We accept payment via approved methods outlined at checkout or within the invoice.
5. Lead Times and Delivery
Estimated lead times are provided at the time of order but are not guaranteed. Delivery dates may vary due to material availability, production delays, or logistics issues. The Company is not liable for delays beyond its reasonable control.
6. Delivery and Risk
Risk in the products passes to you upon delivery. You are responsible for inspecting the products upon receipt and notifying us of any damage or shortages within 48 hours.
7. Installation
Where installation services are provided, you must ensure the site is accessible and suitable. Additional charges may apply if installation cannot be completed due to site conditions.
8. Returns and Refunds
Standard Products: May be returned within 14 days of delivery if unused and in original packaging. Buyer must pay from return postage.
Custom or Made-to-Order Products: Non-refundable unless defective.
Refunds will be processed after inspection of returned goods.
9. Warranty
We provide a limited warranty of 12 months covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. This warranty does not cover:
Normal wear and tear
Misuse, negligence, or improper maintenance
Damage caused by exposure to extreme conditions
10. Maintenance and Care
Customers are responsible for proper care and maintenance of Products, including cleaning and avoiding exposure to excessive moisture, heat, or corrosive substances.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Products. Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the products.
12. Intellectual Property
All designs, drawings, and specifications remain the intellectual property of the Company and may not be reproduced without prior written consent.
13. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or supply chain disruptions.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015; the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2014.
15. Amendments
We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will apply to all new orders.
